My story: Continued

...The others tackled the other vampires until they were all dead. She yelped and nodded to the others, congratulating them on their win. Meet back at the house in twenty minutes Lexie ordered, turning on her heel and walking away, her pack gazing after her. //

Twenty minutes later she stood in front of her friends a huge smile on her lips. “Well done!” she praised them “not a single scratch and not one got away, that’s a new record” she looked at everyone`s faces, a smile upon all of their lips. If hunting vampires were a sport they would come first. Suddenly three men burst into the house, one of them was her dad; he had his arms around the shoulders of the other two men. The smiles were quickly wiped off their faces as Lexue's mother ran in behind them, her clothes covered in blood. “Lay him down on couch over there” she ordered, pointing to the couch with a shaking hand.  “What happened?” Lexie asked coming up to her father`s side and taking his hand, which was cover in blood. “Some vampires attacked the headquarters, we won but at a loss” Her mother, Jane, said through her teeth. “How many did we lose?” May asked as she tugged on a red curl, which she did when she was edging for a hunt. Lexie looked up at her friends worried faces.  All their parents were at headquarter. Lexie's mother looked up at her friends, her face sympathetic. “We lost three and five are seriously injured” she said putting her hand on Kat`s shoulder. “We're not sure they`ll survive without going to a hospital” She added taking time to look at each of the teenager’s face, tears gleaming in her eyes. They all knew that they couldn`t go to hospital because the doctors would have to take their blood, which happens to be different than a normal human.  Lexie stood up still holding her father`s hand.  “Chase, Jake and Brad please go to headquarters and help out. Breeze and Lake please go with them and help out with the injured.  "May, Devon, Cameron, Kat and Scarlet" go to headquarters, gather as many adults and help out with search parties, tell them I sent you and that you are in charge if they still won`t help do anything to make them! Okay?” she ordered running a shaking hand through her hair. “Yes boss” they coursed together and head out the door at a run, they`re clothes turning to shreds as they changed. “Lexie…” her mother started but Lexie interrupted her. “We are good mum, don`t tell me that we`re too young because we just took down a group of twenty vampire without a scratch or one getting away! We might acutely be great just let us help” she puffed, her hands on her hips. “Lexie all I was going to say was that your group of teenagers have come a long way since you started” Her mother replied putting her hand on her daughter`s shoulder. “Um…thanks” Lexie muttered blushing at her stupidity. “Wait did you just complement me?” Lexie questioned                                                                                                                                                                                  “why…I think I just did” said her mother, a weak smile on her lips. Her mum turned towards the kitchen, where they kept the first aid kit. “L-Lexie-e…” Her dad mumbled weakly, she looked down at her dad`s ashen face. His pale green eyes looked lifeless as they stared back up at her. His skin was pasty white and his lips covered in blood. He was bleeding all over; his deepest cut was a deep gash across his stomach. “Dad” she whispered and dropped to her knees with a thud. “I-I`m so…proud-d of y-you” He rasped trying to suck in a breath. “Mum!” she yelled tears trickling down her face. Her mother came running in, she dropped the rages and bottles of disinfection and rushed to her husbands side. Her dad took a huge breath, his chest rising and his back arched up off the couch. He gave one last shuddering breath and then his chest dropped never to rise again. “No…no…no. Dad wake up! Please wake up!” Lexie begged gripping his hand so tightly that her knuckles turned white. It was still warm but not as warm as hers or any other werewolf`s. No tears came, she just sat there as her mother began to cried. She stood letting go of her father`s limp hand. She would cry but not now. Today she lost a dad and her mum had lost her mate but they would get revenge on the vampires that did this. “I`m going to go help the others” she muttered lifelessly, backed up and changed into her wolf form, her sweats and singlet ripping in to shreds. The men that had helped her father in had just stood in the corner of the room as everything happened but now that stared at her, their eyes filled with sadness. “Just like your dad, a real natural” One of them said smiling at her. Well what are you still doing here! Get out and help the others Lexie ordered the two men and they scampered out the room. Crying won`t help now, others need us to be strong with Dad gone, they`ll need a leader to lead them Lexie growled nudging her mother`s arm with her nose. Lexie`s mum looked up at her daughter. She was covered in white fur and her emerald green eyes flashed as she stared into her mother’s golden eyes. They looked a lot alike except that Lexie had her Dad`s green eyes. Her mother nodded and stood up wiping her tears away with the back of her hand. “Well what are we still doing here? Let`s go” her mother said smiling sadly. //

My story

My story:
Air rushed through her fur as she and her pack raced through the trees. She could smell the pine and the musky earth, plus a hundred different smells ranging from deer pee to the sweet, perfume of wild roses. Her pack brushed against her body as they sprinted after their prey. They chased a vile smell, of death and rotten flesh.  She could see them now, they were running as hard as they could. Their pale skin like white paint, they moved like no other creature, it was like they were walking but their arms and legs were moving at lightening speed. Lexie`s muscles moved as one to make the perfect vampire killing machine. They were gaining on the vampires fast and easily.  Let’s pick up the speed. I want this over and fast…Lexie thought, sending a message telepathically out to the rest of the pack. They instantly picked up speed effortlessly and were soon on the vampire`s heels. Lexie sprang, her claws sinking into the closest vampire`s clothes and flesh, taking it down.  She sunk her razor sharp teeth into it's neck, a foul taste burned the back of her throat as the blood oozed into her mouth. She growled, without letting go of her pray she ripped off its head and threw it over her shoulder.
